1. Welcome
It is with pleasure that I return again to writing and publishing your
newsletter.
As we move into the last month of the year, it is wonderful to look back
and see all that we have accomplished over the past 12 months.
The seasons have come and gone, whether we were ready or not, we have grown
older…ready or not; we have made new friends and had others move on to their
next dimension through the doorway we call death. How we are with those
in our life is up to us.
I wish you many joys and blessings in the remainder of 2006 and as we move
into 2007.
I invite you to pass this newsletter on to those you think may enjoy it
– we grow by referral and I truly enjoy knowing that I have new readers.

2. Idea for the week
What does Thanksgiving mean for you? With this particular holiday there is
the opportunity to remember everything in our lives
that we have to be thankful for.
What are the specifics of your life that someone
would be willing to pay a million dollars for? If
you happen to be thinking only about possessions,
I invite you to broaden your perspective to other
blessings in your life – the gift of sight,
hearing, memory, health, freedom, a home, friends,
family…what is your list?
3. Living the Adventure -
Understanding Differences, Embracing Similarities
Each one of us is a unique human being on a unique
journey, specific to each that no other person can
or will live in this lifetime, in this universe.
Each day as we travel through Life we encounter
many other unique human beings, also on their unique
journey.
Have you noticed that most often we see and compare
that uniqueness (either the person or the journey)
as “different” and then label it according
to what we consider “normal”? If something
is in alignment with what we consider normal we
label it good and if it is not in alignment we most
usually label it bad, or at best, dismiss it as
an eccentricity.
What drives this tendency to label others on their
journey?
Interestingly we have grown up in a society where
we have bought into the idea of right and wrong…not
just on issues such as murder or rape but on everything
we do or don’t do how we are with each other
and even the circumstances of our life.
This leads us to see another human being as “right”
or “wrong” from our perspective and
if they are “right” and different, then
we must be “wrong”! Which leads to the
conclusion that this labeling is generally based
in fear – fear about what it means to be “right”
or “wrong” in our lives.
What would it be like if we chose to see all human
beings from the perspective of how we are all similar?
Would it diminish our uniqueness?
Not at all
Would it establish connection and understanding?
Absolutely
In what ways are we similar as people?
In what ways are our lives similar?
No doubt you can come up with a long list of things
for those people who you consider to be close friends,
but what about those who are radically different?
Then it tends to be much more difficult to look
for and find the similarities, let alone appreciate
them…especially if someone is behaving in
a way we think is inappropriate.
On those occasions it is necessary to go back to
the fundamental basis of each human being on this
planet.
1. They have a heart beating in
their chest
2. They have fears and challenges
as well as hopes and dreams just as we do (and even
if they are not obvious to us in the moment)
3. We all miss the mark in certain
areas of our life (either habitually or occasionally)
4. Everyone deserves respect because
they exist
So during the next few weeks as you encounter other
human beings, look at them with openness and understanding
of how each person is doing the best they can; they
deserve respect regardless of their beliefs or behaviour
and that what they do is not personally aimed at
you in any way…even if they say it is. Their
reactions are
theirs – the question is who do you choose
to be?
Enjoy your Life…it’s the only one you’ve
got!
4. 6 Advisors™
Have you read about the 6 Advisors™ assessment?
Dr. Robert Hartman, founder of the formal science
of axiology created an assessment from a mathematical
hierarchy of value which cuts across
cultural, social and religious lines to accurately
measure how we think.
If you would like to sample the 6 Advisors™
assessment for free go to www.6advisors.com/intro
and type in U18ILHMEEG or click here
<http://166.70.156.122/assessment/login_promo.jsp?promoCode=U18ILHMEEG>to

After taking the assessment you will receive an
email with a link to the report where you can listen
to a virtual debrief for two of your 6 Advisors™.
Be sure to take the time to read and listen thoroughly
to the report – I believe you will find it
fascinating.
After listening to your debrief for two of your
6 Advisors™, you will have the opportunity
to request information on the other opportunities
available to you for an investment. If you would
like to receive a full personal debrief of your
6 Advisors™ assessment report I am offering
that to my newsletter readers this month for $195.00
(a $100 savings over the regular investment). This
offer will end December 31, 2006.
As with all the services I offer, this comes with
a full money back guarantee if you do not receive
value from it.
Where do your thoughts support you in your success?
Where do they sabotage you? Take the free sample
assessment to find out more about how your thoughts
are influencing your life.
5. Synchronicity
Yesterday I received a wonderful gift. My best friend
Ruth did an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) session
with me by phone. The subject?
This newsletter and my blocks to publishing it twice
each month as I committed to do January this year.
Not only have I written this newsletter and published
it, I had more energy and creativity last evening
and accomplished more than I do usually, especially
after 6pm. Coincidence? I don’t think so –
I believe this is how Life shows up for us when
we step in and say YES.
If you are interested in working through any block
you have in your work or personal life, I thoroughly
recommend contacting Ruth at ruthy8@tiscali.co.uk.
Her rates are very reasonable and well worth it.
Wishing you joy and prosperity during the close
of 2006.
Warmly,
Barbara.
